This Egret missed the fish this time.
This pelican was nearby. They are great birds to photograph, and remarkably agile for a bird that size. These were both taken on Toby’s Inlet.
This was taken at Quindalup. From left there are three Yellow Billed spoonbills, a White-faced Heron, an Australian White Ibis, another Yellow Billed Spoonbill, a Great Egret, and another Yellow Billed Spoonbill.
I went to Bunbury yesterday – and had lunch at the Parade Hotel. They have a nice verandah over the water, and it looks like this fellow was a regular – he kept coming back.
I think this is a Great Egret – but I am not an expert.
