Sandpatches

Sandpatches is the bay just north of Sugarloaf Rocks. Dolphins frequent this bay on a regular basis. This afternoon they were enjoying themselves and the light was very good. Here are some examples. (The last shot doesn’t have any dolphins in it in case you were wondering).
While I was taking these shots a very large shark leapt vertically into the air. Its girth was about the girth of a large cow, and it was well in excess of 4m in length – I thought it may have been a small whale breaching initially). unfortunately I didn’t get a photo.
